To ensure your build is smooth and stress-free, we've put together some helpful tips to guide you through preparation and assembly.
📦 Check You Have All Your Boxes & Correct Instructions
Please verify your contents upon delivery!
Double-check you’ve received all the correct boxes. Refer to your order confirmation email and match the items with the box lists on our assembly page.
🔎 Select the Right Frame Manual:
Check the SKU codes printed on your boxes to ensure you use the correct instructions for your specific frame model:
-
X-series codes (X1, X2, etc.) use Current Manuals
-
A-series codes (A1, A2, etc.) use Legacy Manuals

⏱️ Planning Your Build
-
Average install time: 4–6 hours depending on the frame size and add-ons.
-
Plan your add-on positions: Plan and visualise the positions of your extra add-ons prior to assembly. This will help you attach their clamps or swing hooks at the correct stages during assembly.
-
Time-saving tip: Pre-build sections (ladders, monkey bars, legs, accessories) ahead of the main assembly day.
💡 Essential Installation Tips
These are our most common support questions:
Tools & Hardware
-
Use a drill with an 8mm Allen/hex key bit for fastest assembly.
-
Swing hooks: Slide these onto the top cross bars before completing the frame assembly.
-
Grub screws: Screw them in as tight as possible for the sturdiest assembly.
-
Spanners and rubber mallet required and not included.
- Adjustment of clamps is required throughout the assembly. Clamps should not be fully tightened until final steps of assembly instructions to allow alignment.

Ground Setup
-
Spikes: Use only 1 spike per foot — they stop the frame sliding.
-
Spiral Ground Anchors: These are designed for soft ground. If they snap during installation, your ground is too firm and the ground spikes are all that's required.
-
Stabiliser/Gymnastics Bars: Loosen the grub screw, push the bar down firmly, then retighten to set the height correctly.
-
Slopes: If your yard drops more than 10cm over 2.4m, you’ll need a Height Adjustment Kit.

Accessory Specifics
-
Cubby House: The top bolt for the shade cloth can cross-thread — make sure it goes in perfectly straight.
-
Ninja Net / Cubby House: If you plan to lower your monkey bars with these, you’ll need an additional Cross Bar.
-
Stabiliser/Gymnastics Bars: Install at a 45° angle to reduce frame movement.
-
Flying Fox: Ensure the clamps face the correct direction (see image below).
